The 2024 Double Play Youth Baseball Program, in partnership with the Red Sox Foundation, has officially come to a close. Check back here next Spring for the 2025 program when we will begin accepting like-new, clean youth baseball and softball equipment again next year for the program. Thank you!
Often today, you have to “pay to play” youth baseball. And there are many kids who simply cannot afford to play. At Jordan’s Furniture, we feel every kid who wants to play should have the chance to enjoy America’s favorite pastime. So to help make it happen, we partnered with the Red Sox Foundation and the New Haven YMCA Youth Center to establish the Double Play Youth Baseball Donation Program.
Each year, we reach out to our neighboring communities and ask their help in gathering clean, like-new equipment for the upcoming season. At each store location and at our Taunton Distribution Center, we collect baseball gloves, metal bats, cleats and more. Then we deliver it to Fenway Park where it is put in the hands of some deserving youth with help from the Red Sox Foundation’s Nike Reviving Baseball and Softball in the Inner-Cities (RBI) Program.
The Double Play Program supports youth baseball and softball in all Jordan’s communities.
